Hi, I’m Sinah Griessler, a stylist, fashion writer and visual artist from Berlin. In my work, I combine my understanding of fashion and design with contemporary themes in art and culture. My work focuses on storytelling and research with an interdisciplinary and conceptual approach.

I have developed styling concepts for numerous magazines, such as SLEEK magazine, Contributor Magazine and Mob Journal and am currently an editor for TITLE Magazine.

Writing

In my work as a freelance writer and as a contributor for TITLE magazine, I discuss anything fashion, culture and art. What especially interests me is the intersection of fashion and art, looking at fashion in a political, societal and cultural context.

In my styling projects, I enjoy blending emerging designers with archive pieces to create looks that are both contemporary and timeless. I’ve developed styling concepts for various publications, including SLEEK Magazine, Contributor Magazine, and Mob Journal. I enjoy collaborating with photographers, designers and other creatives to bring a common vision to life.

Conceptual

In my recent conceptual work, which includes spatial installations, conceptual and performative projects, I have used different working methods to approach the themes that have always been of interest for me – an examination of the self, the body and the outside world. Questions of identity, fragility and transformation are addressed, as well as social and political issues.
